Rich Phelan is Executive Vice President, Media Groupe Client Leader at Spark Foundry, a global media agency brand within Publicis Media. In this role, Phelan is responsible for the day-to-day business on the Macy’s Inc account, which includes the Macy’s retail media network. He leads a 100-member team across media planning, audience strategy, investment, and measurement that is focused on delivering impactful business outcomes for Macy’s.
Previously, he led the Target relationship at Essence, where he oversaw the retail giant’s media strategy, planning, and investment. Prior to Essence, Phelan was EVP, Managing Director, Retail at OMD. He has over two decades of experience in the retail sector where he drove growth for Fortune 500 companies.
Phelan holds a bachelor’s degree from UMass Amherst.
